Update on Hurricane Isaac: the storm has already swept the Florida Keys with fast winds and rain, and is expected to become must stronger as it drifts toward the northern Gulf Coast. Here’s the latest map on Hurricane Isaac’s path:
HuffPo reports: “Isaac is expected to make landfall somewhere along the Gulf Coast by Tuesday or Wednesday – the seventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. That storm caused disastrous flooding all along the coast. A hurricane hasn’t hit the Gulf Coast since Ike in 2008.”
While, obviously, the most fearful and tearful consequence of this storm is the potential lives it might claim, I hate to think of all those million-dollar homes that these idiots continue to rebuild because they know taxpayers will be forced to fund them.
Considering this is a political blog and all, I’m happy to make anything political.
