Over the past several months, Warren Buffett (along with his secretary) has become a political prop for Obama’s progressive tax agenda. All you have to do is look for his clever branding, which involves the labeling of his ambitious millionaire tax plan as the “Buffett Rule.”

Sympathy is a political asset. And if there’s a sympathetic ploy to exploit, Obama will find it. Just not sure how yet.
