Ted Nugent is meeting with the Secret Service on Thursday to discuss his so-called “violent” comments against Barack Obama. I find it absurd. Anyone who actually took the time to read Mr. Nugent’s remarks would know that he was not threatening to assassinate the President (for the details, click here).
But I suppose skewed rhetoric makes for good media.
“The conclusion will be obvious that I threatened no one,” Nugent asserted GBTV.
It’s already obvious, to people who actually read the remarks — in its entirety, that is.
I’ll give them this: Nugent’s rant was direct and a little dramatic. But, sorry CNN and MSNBC, he was not “threatening the life of the president.”
