Obama Tells Editors He’s a “Centrist,” Republicans Are “Radicals”

Obama wants the American people to know — by way of news editors and the Supreme Court — that he’s a “centrist.”  And Republicans are the “radicals.”  It must be class-warfare taxation, intrusive EPA regulations, and his advocacy for socialized healthcare that makes him a centrist.  I’m just speculating.

“So, as all of you are doing your reporting, I think it is important to remember that the positions I’m taking now on the budget and on a host of other issues, if we had been having this discussion 20 years ago or 15 years ago, would have been considered squarely centrist positions,” Obama told editors at a meeting.

“What’s changed is the center of the Republican Party,” he added.

And the mainstream media just eats it up.

Obama used the same shameful strategy on the Supreme Court’s justices, who are now deciding whether his beloved health care overhaul is unconstitutional.

Which it undoutedly does. There’s nothing like executive intimidation.
