Republican House leaders Darrell Issa and Jason Chaffetz are going after Eric Holder and the Justice Department over the Fast and Furious scandal. As we know, the agency has been “stonewalling” Congress over the debacle. Why Holder and his minions haven’t been canned is beyond me.
Issa confirmed that he has been green-lighted to go aheady and prepare a contempt for the legislative resolution against Holder.
“We have a few other options (but) to a great extent we’ve been stonewalled by the Justice Department,” Issa said. “We have issued a subpoena,” Chaffetz added, on a Fox News program. “We have bent over backwards to be patient and take time. (Holder) is leading us down a path where we have no other choice.”
If Obama was smart, he would have thrown Holder under the bus years ago.
