Eric Holder is barricading voter ID laws in Texas and South Carolina, because they are “discriminatory” — you know, because it makes it impossible for blacks and Hispanics to vote. Even though you have to have a photo ID for just about everything — even to visit the Attorney General’s office.
So according to the theory, to visit the Attorney General, you have to be white. Sounds kind of Jim Crow-ish if you ask me.
Each of these organizations has scrutinized photo ID for voting, yet, at the same time, they require it to enter their D.C., offices. There’s even a sign in the building of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law that says, “ALL VISITORS MUST SHOW ID.”
Hypocrisy to the core.
