Years back, the Environmental Protection Agency’s Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz made clear what the EPA’s overall philosophy entails: that is, to “crucify” and “make examples” of oil companies, similar to how the Romans crucified random people. Because crucifixion, you know, is a good way to ensure obedience.
Sen. James Inhofe quoted a 2010 video that showed Armendariz construing his deranged philosophy.
Consequently, Mr. Armendariz submitted his resignation letter on Sunday, asserting that he did not want to be a distraction for the EPA.
Hard work, maybe, but integrity? I doubt it.
