Democratic Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, apparently, is not so fond of Obama’s Marxist approach to “mending the economy.” Because, big surprise, such governmental policies have not delivered much economic growth to his state.
Consequently, Mr. Manchin’s not so sure he’s voting for Obama this time around.
Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., who has done more than any other Democrat up for reelection this year to distance himself from President Obama, said he does not know if he will vote for Obama or presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney in November.
“I’ll look at the options,” Manchin said this week. The last three years “have made it pretty rough” for his state, he said.
Ouch. It’s not as bad as ObamaCare’s suffocating chance in the Supreme Court, but nonetheless, it’s gotta sting like a beehive.
Regardless of ideology — not that I’m indicating any form of advocacy — distancing yourself from Obama is the politically adept move.
