This is classic Warren Buffett-sponsored hypocrisy: Bitch and moan about low taxes, and then, when the time is right, bitch and moan about high taxes. It’s a rather confusing tax policy ideology. Then again, it’s also Warren Buffett.
To give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he wasn’t informed about the $640-million lawsuit.
For a long time now, Mr. Buffett has been asserting that his enterprises don’t pay enough in taxes. Maybe he’s right after all.
