Nancy Pelosi, a self-professed Catholic, just can’t keep her trap shut on this ObamaCare contraception mandate. She’s painfully enthusiastic. And now she’s pulling out the statistics, you know, to prove that she’s right: “90 percent of Catholic women use birth control.” So, let’s force 100 percent of Catholic women — and men — to subsidize it. That’s her argument.
“I know that the records show that 90 percent of Catholic women of childbearing age use birth control,” Pelosi said Thursday. ”So this is a women’s health issue.”
I don’t know the precise statistic, but let’s assume 90 percent of men watch sports. I wonder what Pelosi would think about free ESPN for every man in this country.
Don’t worry, there’s a veritable justification: It’s critical to our mental health. And this is important, because I’m pretty sure suicide rates are up.
