Media Ignores George Zimmerman’s Version of Trayvon Martin’s Death

The plot thickens in the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman debacle, as law-enforcement authorities have presented a different side of the story.  Evidently — and to be fair, this is also just speculation — Martin decked Mr. Zimmerman before the Neighborhood Watch volunteer shot and killed the 17-year-old kid.

Martin allegedly slammed Zimmerman’s head into the sidewalk, leaving him “bloody and bettered,” police officers told the Orlando Sentinel.

In his version of events, Zimmerman had turned around and was walking back to his vehicle when Trayvon approached him from behind, the two exchanged words and then Trayvon punched him in the nose… and began beating him.

Typical media, not telling both sides of the story.  Reporting only one side of the story, because racial crime makes a better headline.  Of course, considering both Martin and Zimmerman are minorities, you’d think it wouldn’t play out this way.  But as the New York Times indicated, Zimmerman isn’t just a Hispanic — he’s a white Hispanic.  Right, OK.

You also don’t hear much about the New Black Panther party offering a $10,000-bounty on Zimmerman’s head.  Funny how that works.
