The NFL announced Tuesday that it is swapping opening day of the 2012 season from Thursday, September 6, to Wednesday, September 5, to avoid conflicting with Obama’s DNC speech.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the NFL (my wife says I live for it), but the seemingly Democratic appeasers who are running the league — eh, not so much.
It will mark the second straight year that politics and football threatened to conflict, but last year it was Obama altering his schedule to accommodate the NFL.
Think these shenanigans will transpire when a Republican captures the White House?
The only explanation: Obama promised the league a subsidy for NFL executive pay hikes.
