Sesame Street, and its left-wing propaganda campaign, is at it again, and this time, it is to promote a national “Food for Thought” campaign - financed by you the taxpayer – to further Michelle Obama’s undeclared “War on Childhood Obesity Part VI.”
Indeed, the latest addition to Elmo’s leftist loony bin is Lily, a “food insecure” Muppet who fears that her family will be stuck scanning the McDonalds dollar menu for the rest of their lives. But no need to fear, as with all welfare-statist Muppets, young Lily has found a taxpayer-funded solution!
“Sometimes we can’t always afford to buy all the food that we need,” the Muppet said. “I mean, but we’ve been finding lots of ways that we can get help… Yeah, for example, at school I get a free breakfast and a lunch… part of the meal plan.”
At the National Press Club on Thursday, the Rev. Douglas Greenaway of the National WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Association lauded Sesame Street’s ‘Food For Thought’ campaign – even linking it to federal deficit-reduction.
Federal deficit-reduction? Of course, Mr. Greenaway did not explain how increasing spending, in actuality, reduces spending (if you figure this out, Douglas, please do tell).
Sorry Mr. former Speaker, I beg to disagree: Right-wing social engineering is exceedingly more desirable than left-wing social engineering.
