Obama’s former campaign adviser David Axelrod seems to think its the Republicans in Congress who are responsible for the flailing U.S. economy, and not the President. Hmm, I’m pretty sure the Democrats held the Executive, the Senate, and the House during the first two years of Obama’s presidency.
And during those two years, unfortunately there was virtually no congressional gridlock. Take a look at what the President accomplished since 2008: a massive healthcare overhaul, a near trillion-dollar economic stimulus plan, welfare extensions, and a myriad of new regulations.
Sorry Axel, the Obama administration needs no help in destroying the economy. They’re doing just fine on their own.
